Deleting your account
How to delete your Ulupa account and what happens to your data.
1In short
You delete your Ulupa account yourself — in the Ulupa mobile app (ge.ulupa.app) or on ulupa.ge. No request form is needed; deletion happens immediately.
The operator is LLC “Ulupa” (ID 406561135).
2How to delete it in the Ulupa app
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to the “Profile” tab.
- At the bottom of the page open “Delete account”.
- Enter your account password.
- Tap “Delete permanently” and confirm by tapping again.
For chefs the same section is in the profile of the chef dashboard.
3How to delete it on the website
- Open ulupa.ge and sign in.
- Open “Profile” from the user menu.
- In the “Delete account” block enter your password and confirm.
4If you cannot sign in
Write to support@ulupa.ge from the email address registered on the account. We will verify that the account is yours and delete it within 30 days.
5What is erased
- first and last name;
- phone number;
- email address;
- profile photo;
- saved delivery addresses;
- favourite chefs and dishes;
- chats with chefs and support requests;
- uploaded photos and documents;
- push notification subscriptions;
- the ability to sign in.
6What is kept and why
Records of orders, payments and ratings remain, but without your name and contact details — they are anonymised. Chefs need these records for settlements, and we need them for accounting and tax reporting.
The retention period for anonymised records is set by Georgian accounting and tax legislation.
7When deletion is not immediately available
In these cases the app tells you what to do. If the issue is not resolved, contact support.
- you have unfinished orders — receive or cancel them first;
- a chef has an outstanding payout — receive the transfer first.
8Timing
From the app or the website — at the moment you confirm. By email to support — up to 30 days. Database backups that may still contain records are kept for no longer than 30 days and are then overwritten.
